What is the Benchmark Analysis angle?

The Benchmark Analysis angle lets you view and market price benchmarks.

Benchmark Analysis is one of the angles available to the right of each Basket. Go to Analyze -> Baskets to view the angles on the right of each Basket.  This gives you several ways to research market price benchmarks.

1. Savings at Median, Top Quartile and Top Decile will show potential savings opportunities within a given basket category by normalized vendor and normalized manufacturer. Current pricing is compared to the Curvo price benchmarks within each tab and savings are projected based on the difference between current price and the benchmark price (50th, 75th, 90th).
2. Category Benchmarks display median unit pricing by GIC and GMND classifications and compares them to Curvo price benchmarks.
3. Line Item Details includes all spend associated with a basket as well as applicable benchmarks and opportunities at a line item level.
